We’ve coordinated with individuals along with corporate travel and logistics departments to help acquire the right type of business jet for their needs, whether it’s an efficient light or mid-size jet to travel between offices, a helicopter for quick trips across town, or an ultra long-range jet with an executive configuration to fly overseas and offer VIP treatment to potential clients and business partners.

Whether you’re looking to buy or sell a new or pre-owned aircraft, Air Charter Advisors is here to make your transaction go as smoothly as possible.

New Aircraft for Sale

The time to purchase your own aircraft is contingent on your personal and/or business’s financial situation and annual flying hours. If you’re approaching more than 150 hours of flying every year, then it’s time to start looking into purchasing a private jet. If you are flying less than this, a Jet Card Membership may be the right fit for you.

After all, owning a private plane will allow you to recover one of your most precious resources: Time. Aircraft ownership allow you to reclaim hours of your day every time you travel. In an industry governed by time – arrival and departure, flight duration, scheduled maintenance, fractional ownership amounts – owning an aircraft allows you to govern yours more efficiently.

There are many private planes for sale across several categories, with manufacturers updating and upgrading existing aircraft and releasing new platforms every year. Finding the right aircraft comes down to a variety of factors, including your budget, mission requirements, frequently visited destinations, typical luggage amounts, and how many people you plan on traveling with. ACA can also assist with FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135 aircraft management, helping to minimize costs while maximizing ownership.

Whether you’re purchasing a private plane for personal use or for business travel, our advisors can help narrow down the list based on what makes sense for your goals and finances.

Pre-Owned Aircraft for Sale

Shopping for a pre-owned aircraft can save a significant amount of money when purchasing an aircraft. New planes are substantially more expensive, but the average owner replaces their private plane every 3 to 5 years – in fact, 76% of all aircraft purchases in 2015 were pre-owned despite only 11.5% of aircraft listed for sale as pre-owned. This can create opportunities to get an outstanding deal when purchasing a pre-owned aircraft.

However, the market for used aircraft can be difficult to navigate without knowing where to look. Inventories can be fragmented across multiple marketplaces, making it harder to locate the best deal on the type of aircraft you’re looking for. We have access to on-market and off-market private planes for sale.

If you’re interested in purchasing or selling a used aircraft, ACA can advise buyers and sellers, taking into consideration mission capabilities, Part 135 potential, and ownership costs.

Types of Aircraft for Sale

The type of aircraft you purchase will be based on personal/business missions, goals, and number of people you fly with. For example, if you’re planning on frequently traveling to/from regional airports with smaller runways, a turboprop or light jet will be needed to operate on the runways. If you have a large executive team or plan on flying overseas, you’ll want to look at larger jets to offer a bigger cabins with more seating and comfort features, including private lavatories and built-in showers.

Keep in mind: cabin configurations can be customized whether you’re purchasing a new aircraft or refurbishing a newly acquired pre-owned aircraft. All aircraft in the private jet categories and many executive turboprops will have pressurized cabins and air conditioning. Wi-Fi can be installed into any aircraft, entertainment systems can be added, and flight decks can be upgraded with the latest avionics. Things such as speed, flight range, payload and passenger capacities, and the type/number of lavatories, however, are difficult to alter once you’ve made your purchase.

Renowned for their short-range mission and low operating costs, turboprops are one of the most practical aircraft available for ownership.
