More Information | Cessna Caravan & C208

This Cessna Caravan is extremely versatile. This aircraft type can be configured as a commuter aircraft, executive aircraft, seaplane, or for cargo. Depending on the configuration the plane may or may not have a lav (potty seat).

The Cessna Grand Caravan Single Engine Turbo Prop can be flown as a single pilot configuration, or with two pilots. The Air Charter Advisors always recommends using a two pilot configuration no matter what may be required, as this can only add safety to your flight.

The Cessna Caravan C208 and Grand Caravan are considered some of the most economical single engine aircraft for charter and for sale. They are turbo prop planes so they are reliable and faster than most pistons, and can be chartered for an average rate of $1,125 per.

This turbo-prop is best for shorter flights and are often used for hops between islands such as the Bahamas and Puerto Rico as they can land on short runways.

The Grand Caravan has a terrific baggage compartment specs when including the cargo pod belly, and offers great performance for a single engine aircraft. Since this aircraft is so reliable and cost effective to charter, there are some operators who have upgraded their aircraft to seaplanes (amphibious) and have floats to land on the water or on a runway.
