Aircraft Details

Produced in Greensboro, North Carolina, the design of the Elite maintains many of the HondaJet’s features, including a sleek, compact design with engines mounted over the wings and a sharp, pointed nose.

The HondaJet Elite offers higher cruise speeds, a longer flight range, a higher payload, and lower direct operating costs compared to the Cessna Citation M2. It also outperforms the Cirrus Vision Jet in terms of speed, range and payload, and offers a larger cabin, extra seating, and additional range compared to the Embraer Phenom 100.

Honda Aircraft Company has also produced HondaJet Elite models with medevac configurations for use in medical flights and air ambulance services.

The HondaJet Elite S offers a number of innovative interior and cabin features that set it apart from other aircraft in its class.

The cabin offers seating for up to 7 passengers, with four multi-axis seats that are ergonomically-shaped and can slide, shift, and lock without the restraint of a track. An optional single side-facing fifth seat provides an extra measure of comfort and productivity, and layouts are available with a total of six seats.

The over-the-wing mounted engines reduce cabin noise and provide additional baggage space for a total of 66 cubic feet of storage (57 cu ft in the aft compartment, and 9 cu ft in the nose).

The Elite S also offers a smartphone-controlled cabin environment, allowing passengers to customize their experience to match their individual needs.

A pair of skylights illuminates the fully-enclosed lavatory, an industry-first for its category.

Powered by two GE Honda turbofans, the HondaJet Elite can reach a maximum cruising speed of 486 mph.

Honda added auxiliary fuel tanks to the Elite to improve the range over the original HondaJet by 230 nautical miles.

An increase to elevator authority reduces its runway requirements to just 3,491 feet for take-offs, operating at smaller airports while reducing the advantage held by the competing Citation M2.

The Elite flies at a maximum cruise altitude of 43,000 feet, allowing you to fly over inclement weather for safer travel.

HondaJet Elite S

The HondaJet Elite S increases the MTOW by 200 lbs to extend the range by an additional 120 nautical miles.

The Elite S also features what Honda refers to as an ‘advanced steering augmentation system’, reducing pilot workload and enhancing safety in specific weather conditions.

The HondaJet Elite S carries a price tag of around $5.7 million USD, and is offered with three new livery options: deep sea blue, gunmetal, and luxe gold.
