The fall months of September and October saw a steady climb in business aviation in the United States, and business jets in Europe and Russia continued moving across Europe and the Mediterranean for both meetings and end of summer holidays.

The following routes were the most popular for business jets over the months of September and October in 2016 across North America. (VNY) Van Nuys and (LAS) McCarran International was the busiest city pair, up to 412 departures compared to 340 over the previous two months, with the reverse flight coming in second.
The busiest general aviation airport for flights to New York City, (TEB) Teterboro Airport, makes up more than half of the list, with business jet heading to/from (TEB) Teterboro to (IAD) Washington Dulles International, (BOS) Boston Logan, (YYZ) Toronto Pearson, (MDW) Midway and (HPN) Westchester County.
(NCE) Côte d’Azur in Nice, France to (VKO) Vnukovo International in Moscow, Russia continues to be one of the the most popular private jet routes in the world, registering 231 business jet departures between the months of September and October in 2016, a slight drop from 330 departures over the prior two month summer period.
Much like Teterboro, (NCE) Côte d’Azur appear multiple times throughout the top 15 list, with business jets heading to/from (NCE) Côte d’Azur and (LBG) Paris–Le Bourget, (GVA) Geneva Airport, (OLB) Olbia Costa Smeralda, and (LTN) London Luton Airport.
