Cessna debuted the Citation II (Model 550) in 1978, developed by stretching their Citation I (Model 500). The success of the 550 led to several variants, including the Citation II/SP (Model 551) for single-pilot operations, and the Citation S/II (Model S550), which replaced the II in production. The S550 added a variety of improvements, mainly the super-critical airfoil design used in the Citation III, and powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D4B engines.

The Citation 2 is an ideal charter option for passengers looking for comfortable jet that can fly nonstop from Chicago to Dallas, New York to DC, or Seattle to Denver. For pricing and availability on Citation IIs available for charter near you, give us a call at +1 (888) 987-5387
