Aircraft Details

Bombardier Aerospace designed its successor to the Challenger 350 to set a new standard in its category, giving the Challenger 3500 an upgraded, elegant interior and industry-first technology.

The new 3500 will carry on Bombardier’s tradition of combining comfort, performance, and reliability as the new flagship on one of the best-selling business jet platforms.

Interior

The Challenger 3500 features the same dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 6 feet tall and just over 7 feet wide, with 8 seats in in club configuration standard, and layouts with divans available for up to 10 passengers.

New cabin additions include productivity enhancing features such as Nuage seats that provide unparalleled comfort and the industry’s first voice-controlled cabin, setting a new course for private jet travel.

The patented Nuage seats – the same seats offered in Bombardier new Global 7500 – offer zero-gravity comfort, with neutral body posture to reduce lower back pressure and even-weight distribution to improve circulation.

The seats feature a tilt system for a deep recline, a floating base for fluid movement, and tilting headrests for optimized comfort.

A spacious & stylish galley is available with options such as a two-tiered ice drawer, transparent crystal storage, and wine chiller compartment.

Performance

Although the Challenger 3500 does not offer a clean-sheet design, performance is still notably increased over the Challenger 350.

The 3500 is powered by the same Honeywell HTF7350, with optimizations to improve fuel efficiency and decrease total full burn, while increasing maximum cruise speeds to save time on long distance flights

Range has been extended by 200 nautical miles over the previous model to 3,400 nmi, allowing for non-stop flights from New York to cities Western Europe, and connecting distant pairs such as Dubai and Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, or Los Angeles and Honolulu.

The flight deck has been upgraded to feature the best-equipped cockpit in its class, including a standard auto-throttle system and a variety of avionics designed to meet future requirements.
